Alain Bonnefoit was born in Paris, May 18, 1937, and over the last 35 years has become well-known as an important and talented figurative painter.

In 1953, Bonnefoit entered l’Ecole des Arts Applique and l’Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris.  From 1959 to 1960, he studied “Engraving and Sculpture” at l’Ecole des Beaux Arts in Brussels.  In 1962, he returned to Paris and studied sculpture with the renowned “Volti.”

Alain Bonnefoit has had major exhibitions throughout the world, including France, Italy, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Japan, Tahiti, and the United States.
